Eddie Karam
President, Broker

After completing a BBA at the University of Texas at El Paso Mr. Karam received a license to broker real estate from the Texas Real Estate Commission and began his varied career. Brokerage, construction, development and renovation in both residential and commercial properties have been his forte since 1974. He has been involved in virtually every aspect of the business; however, his accomplishments in turning depressed properties into income producing assets are legendary. Community involvement has included terms on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Airport Board, City Charter Re-write Committee and the Vestry and Trust Committee of the Church of St. Clement.
Now residing in Austin, Texas, he serves on a Municipal Utility District Board, the Travis County Housing Authority and remains actively involved in community and real estate organizations.


Ronda Karam
Vice President

As Vice President, Ronda brings more than 20 years of business experience, leadership and management skills to the company. Known as a successful businesswoman in the El Paso and Austin markets she is highly respected and sought after for her advice. Overseeing the day to day operations of the company has provided Ronda with a broad knowledge of the real estate industry. She is an active volunteer in the community and is President of the 8212 Barton Creek Club in Austin.


Doug Borrett
Vice President, Broker

Doug is the Karam Company’s “Special Projects Coordinator.” With thirty four years experience in real estate and construction Doug’s specialties are in designing and supervising the multiple ongoing development projects. He currently supervises the Karam Company investment portfolio, which includes foreclosures, bank repos, surplus land and tax sale properties while also engaging in the acquisition of non-performing mortgage loans. Doug’s job is to turn around the acquired properties through remodeling and vision, reselling them for a profit.




Stan Okies

M. Stan Okies has been involved in the real estate industry since 1984. His experiene within the commercial field since 1990 includes being actively involved in real estate brokerage with the Karam Company since 1999.  His credits are in the sales and leasing of shopping centers, office buildings, and office condominiums, industrial, land and other opportunities. He has ample experience negotiating with national as well as local companies with hands-on experience in the development and re-development areas of the industry. Importantly, he provides his clients and all those invoived with any transaction with the pertinent information and tools necessary to help each party reach its perspective goals. 

Stan is a CCIM candidate and has successfully completed all CCIM commercial investment real estate courses. 

Stan is involved in real estate related organizations including the following:
-Greater El Paso/National Association of Realtors
-CCIM West Texas Chapter. Board of Directors from 2007-present, 
Secretary/Treasurer from 2008-2009, and Vice President from 2004-2011
-Certified Property Tax Dispute Arbitrator, 2009

Stan is a native Texan, having been born in El Paso. He attended Texas Western College (now the University of Texas at El Paso), pursuing a BBA.

Stan and his wife Bonnie reside in El Paso, have been married over 29 years and have a son and two dogs.

Personal interests include property management, travel, reading, physical fitness, and active church membership and ministry outreach. Former affiliations include:

Dan W. Foster

Dan is a third generation El Pasoan and is second generation to the real estate business. Before joining the Karam Company in 2011, Dan spent ten years as the lead broker on all retail, office, and investment real estate transactions at Grubb & Ellis. Institutional quality investments are his expertise, but he began his career in land development and sales and was also involved with dispositions of REO’s for Southwestern Savings and Loan and El Paso Federal Savings and Loan.

The Karam Company has over seventy years experience in Real Estate and related ventures, including business management, note collections and property management. From inception, it has been a closely held family corporation with various family members assuming leadership positions.

Today the Karam Company continues its business model as a real estate consulting company and licensed Real Estate Brokerage by nurturing partnerships to invest in Real Property. These strategic alliances make the Company both vertically and horizontally integrated, which means you can count on stability based on diversification.

In addition to the Company’s past experience with commercial projects, the officers have honed their Brokerage skills to better assist individuals and entities with identifying, consummating, or negotiating a transaction with specific investment objectives. The Company has also cultivated a portfolio of Investments which follow a fundamental investing philosophy: an investment is only considered attractive if it shows financial promise and does not disproportionately allocate the assets of the portfolio with respect to time.
